Gravity explores the vast emptiness of space in the new IMAX poster

My most anticipated film this fall is Alfonso Cuaron’s GRAVITY (click the link to see the most recent amazing trailer).  Warner Bros. Pictures has released the newest IMAX poster.  What I appreciate most is that while George Clooney and Sandra Bullock’s names are prominent their faces are not.  Instead the poster is focusing on the scariness of the vast and open space with the haunting tagline, “Don’t Let Go.”  The film opens October 4th and I for one cannot wait.

GRAVITY official synopsis: Dr. Ryan Stone (Sandra Bullock) is a brilliant medical engineer on her first shuttle mission, with veteran astronaut Matt Kowalsky (George Clooney). But on a seemingly routine spacewalk, disaster strikes. The shuttle is destroyed, leaving Stone and Kowalsky completely alone—tethered to nothing but each other and spiraling out into the blackness. The deafening silence tells them they have lost any link to Earth…and any chance for rescue. As fear turns to panic, every gulp of air eats away at what little oxygen is left. But the only way home may be to go further out into the terrifying expanse of space.
