Henry Cavill, Michael Shannon and Amy Adams in more new images from Man of Steel

Henry Cavill in Man of Steel

MAN OF STEEL has premiered to the press in Los Angeles and so Henry Cavill, Zack Snyder and the rest of the players have already suffered through what promises to be the first of many press gauntlets for the film.  With a major tent-pole like this, the questions will probably all be the same and everyone is going to have to address sequels, Justice League and Batman.  We basically just went through this with Robert Downey Jr. and all the questions he kept getting about IRON MAN 4 and THE AVENGERS 2.  So be forewarned; as you continue to read things and check out all the new information that’s about to come out, know that the answers will almost always be the same.  Henry Cavill is up to playing Superman again in any capacity, but doesn’t know anything because Warner Bros. doesn’t consult him.  Zack Snyder doesn’t know anything either because WB is going to wait to see how the public react to MAN OF STEEL first.  Christopher Nolan probably knows everything, but is never going to say anything.  So with that in mind, let’s enjoy the hope and excitement that comes from new images and not worry about what’s coming up next, quite yet.

MAN OF STEEL official synopsis: A young boy learns that he has extraordinary powers and is not of this Earth.  As a young man, he journeys to discover where he came from and what he was sent here to do.  But the hero in him must emerge if he is to save the world from annihilation and become the symbol of hope for all mankind.  MAN OF STEEL stars Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Russell Crowe, Michael Shannon, Ayelet Zurer, Diane Lane, Kevin Costner, Antje Traue, Christopher Meloni and Laurence Fishburne. The Zack Snyder directed and Christopher Nolan produced film flies into theaters on June 14th, 2013.
