Hugh Jackman fights bad guys on top of a speeding train in clip from The Wolverine
No one is really sure what to expect from James Mangold’s THE WOLVERINE. Up until this point, most of us have been keeping our expectations in check and just hoping it’s better than X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE. The first few trailers have been okay, but it really comes down to the story, the directing and of course, the editing. We already know that Hugh Jackman is the perfect Wolverine. Fox has just released a new clip from the film, featuring an extended look at the train fight we caught a glimpse of in the trailers. It features Hugh Jackman as Wolverine battling a Yakuza baddie on top of a speeding bullet train. I like the idea, but the editing is super-quick, so much so that I’m not really even sure what went on. I hope that’s more because of the type of scene we’re watching and not an example of what we can expect from all the fight scenes in the movie. Nothing can cheapen a movie faster than lightning-fast editing. Check it out and judge for yourself below.
