Hugh Jackman gets violent in new images from The Wolverine

I was reviewing a list of most anticipated movies of the summer from a few critics and noticed that Hugh Jackman‘s THE WOLVERINE didn’t show up on any of the lists. Although it’s for sure a small sampling, I found it a little odd and wonder if the overall lack of excitement is shared amongst the fans. Maybe it was the disappointing X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE or maybe it’s been too long since we’ve seen Hugh Jackman as Logan on the big screen. Either way, I think Fox has some work to do if THE WOLVERINE is going to be the summer blockbuster they hope it is. For me, any Wolverine is good Wolverine, so I’m excited to see what’s in store for us.
THE WOLVERINE stars Hugh Jackman, Brian Tee, Will Yun Lee, Hiroyuki Sanada, Svetlana Khodchenkova, Rila Fukushima and James Fraser. The James Mangold directed film is set to open in theaters on July 26th, 2013.
