Hugh Jackman talks things over with James Mangold in new images from The Wolverine

When I read things about the Marvel and Fox spat over Quicksilver, I’m reminded how great it would be if Marvel still owned the X-Men franchise. If we count five films (X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE being the fifth), Fox has managed to make three good X-Men movies and two awful ones. It’s not a horrible record, but the character that most deserves some love and care is Wolverine. I can’t help but thing Marvel would be able to do the character justice, especially with Hugh Jackman in the lead role. But we shouldn’t count out THE WOLVERINE just yet. The last trailer was pretty great and I have hope that James Mangold will get it right. If you’ve read any of my previous Wolverine stories, then you know I say that in every article and on some level, maybe I’m just writing that to convince myself. Either way, we still have a couple of months before we see the finished product, but check out some new images below featuring a couple of Hugh Jackman in action and a couple of behind the scenes photos.
