James McAvoy and Jessica Chastain appear on the new The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby poster

Next year looks to be a promising year for film as one of the movies we should all be looking out for is THE DISAPPEARANCE OF ELEANOR RIGBY. With the main stars being James McAvoy (X-MEN: FIRST CLASS) and Jessica Chastain (LAWLESS and ZERO DARK THIRTY), there’s almost no way it could be a disappointing film. The story will be told a bit differently from most films, as it is actually two movies interwoven that will tell one story: from his point of view and her point of view. THE DISAPPEARANCE OF ELEANOR RIGBY takes place in New York City and follows Eleanor Rigby and her husband Conor. Out of the blue Eleanor disappears and goes back to her family home and breaks off any contact with Conor, while the audience is left wondering what happened. There’s no release date for the film just yet, but hopefully we’ll start getting some photos and a trailer or two at the beginning of next year.

Directed by Ned Benson, THE DISAPPEARANCE OF ELEANOR RIGBY stars: James McAvoy, Jessica Chastain, Ciaran Hinds, Bill Hader, Viola Davis and William Hurt.

James McAvoy can be seen next in WELCOME TO THE PUNCH which hits theaters on March 15th, 2013, and Jessica Chastain can be seen in the upcoming ZERO DARK THIRTY which will most likely earn her an Oscar nomination at the very least. (Kinopoisk)

UPDATE: Apparently, the poster was not authorized, so Myriad Pictures stuck their legal team on us to have it removed.  I guess Myriad Pictures doesn’t like people talking about their movies, which is probably why no one goes to see them.
