Jennifer Aniston and Dennis Quaid look set to join John Hawkes in Switch

After reading that title, you might be asking yourself why Jennifer Aniston would do the same movie she already starred in a couple of years ago (THE SWITCH, with Justin Bateman), but this is actually just SWITCH and it’s a completely different film from her previous rom-com. This time, Jennifer Aniston will play the beautiful wife of a real-estate mogul that gets kidnapped by two ex-cons looking for a ransom payment. But when her husband refused to pay, she actually teams up with the ex-cons to get even more money out of him. The film will be based off the Elmore Leonard novel ‘The Switch’.
Some are calling this a prequel to Quentin Tarantino’s JACKIE BROWN, but although it features two of the same characters, it is not a prequel. The ex cons are Louis Gara and Ordell Robbie who were played by Robert De Niro and Samuel L. Jackson in JACKIE BROWN. In SWITCH, they’ll be played by John Hawkes and Ty Burrell. Dan Schechter will be directing the film that should start filming soon.
