Jennifer Lawrence experiences a real war in the final trailer for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire
The final trailer for THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE is now here and given how huge this film is probably going to be, I’m a little disappointed. Granted, this trailer shows more action than the previous trailers, but it clocks in at just over a minute long, so I was left wanting a little more. But I guess that’s the purpose of a trailer, no? Anyway, we’re less than a month away until the second chapter in The Hunger Games is unleashed on the moviegoing world, so check out the new trailer below to get you ready for it.
THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE is set to star Jennifer Lawrence (Katniss Everdeen), Josh Hutcherson (Peeta Mellark), Liam Hemsworth (Gale Hawthorne), Sam Claflin (Finnick Odair) Stephanie Leigh Schlund (Cashmere), Jenna Malone (Johanna Mason), Woody Harrelson (Haymitch Abernathy), Phillip Seymour Hoffman (Plutarch Heavensbee), Jeffrey Wright (Beetee), Amanda Plummer (Wiress), Lynn Cohen (Mags), Jeffrey Wright (Beetee), Alan Ritchson (Gloss), Bruno Gunn (Brutus), Meta Golding (Enobaria), E. Roger Mitchell (Chaff) and Maria Howell (Seeder). THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE is directed by Francis Lawrence and will be released in theaters on November 22, 2013.
The official synopsis: THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE begins as Katniss Everdeen has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a “Victor’s Tour’ of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) – a competition that could change Panem forever.
