Jennifer Lawrence shines in a new image from The Hunger Games: Catching Fire

Jennifer Lawrence in Catching Fire EW

THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE is set to have a panel at Comic Con this year and I’m sure it’ll be a welcomed addition to those that will be missing the Twilight panel. I’m not sure what they can reveal at the panel, other than a brand new trailer. We pretty much know who will be playing all the major parts in the next few movies, with Julianne Moore the latest to join Mockingjay. To get us ready for the big reveal, EW has released a brand new image of Jennifer Lawrence in her fake wedding dress, being admired by Ceasar Flickerman (Stanley Tucci). I won’t ruin the surprise for those that may be confused by the term “fake wedding dress”. We also get a couple of action shots from the film, which is a nice change of pace from all of these “formal” pics.

THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE is set to star Jennifer Lawrence (Katniss Everdeen), Josh Hutcherson (Peeta Mellark), Liam Hemsworth (Gale Hawthorne), Sam Claflin (Finnick Odair) Stephanie Leigh Schlund (Cashmere), Jenna Malone (Johanna Mason), Woody Harrelson (Haymitch Abernathy), Phillip Seymour Hoffman (Plutarch Heavensbee), Jeffrey Wright (Beetee), Amanda Plummer (Wiress), Lynn Cohen (Mags), Jeffrey Wright (Beetee), Alan Ritchson (Gloss), Bruno Gunn (Brutus), Meta Golding (Enobaria), E. Roger Mitchell (Chaff) and Maria Howell (Seeder). THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE is directed by Francis Lawrence and will be released in theaters on November 22, 2013.

The official synopsis: THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE begins as Katniss Everdeen has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a “Victor’s Tour’ of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) – a competition that could change Panem forever.
