Jennifer Lawrence will square off against Bruno Gunn for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire

Casting is definitely picking up for THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE as today it’s been announced that Bruno Gunn (BAD TEACHER and televisions ‘The Office’) will take on the role of Brutus. Brutus is a former victor of the Hunger Games and was a career tribute from District 2. Initially he wanted to team up with Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) for the 75th Hunger Games when he witnessed her kick butt archery skills, but Katniss wanted no part of teaming with him or his fellow District 2 tribute Enobaria (Meta Golding). I’m not familiar with Bruno Gunn’s previous performances on screen, but he definitely looks like a guy who could play Brutus.
Directed by Francis Lawrence,THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE will star: Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Jenna Malone, Woody Harrelson, Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Amanda Plummer, Lynn Cohen and possibly Sam Claflin.
