Jeremy Renner and Julianne Moore will star alongside Al Pacino in Imagine
It looks like the rocker comedy/drama IMAGINE is starting to kick back into gear as today we have learned that not only has Julianne Moore signed onto the film, but Jeremy Renner is also on board replacing Steve Carell. IMAGINE follows a sixty-something rocker (Al Pacino) who finds an unopened letter addressed to his 19-year-old self from John Lennon, which inspires him to find his own son (Jeremy Renner). On the quest to find his long lost boy, he moves into a hotel in New Jersey and becomes friends with the manager (Julianne Moore). No word on when production will actually start, but this is a bit of a pet project for first time director Dan Fogelman (who wrote IMAGINE and CRAZY STUPID LOVE) and with a cast like this I’m sure it will move forward in the next couple of months. We’ll keep you posted when there’s more information.
