The upcoming film 30 MINUTES OR LESS has gotten some pretty decent early buzz with most reports saying “it is what it is”. In other words, it barely clocks in at 80 minutes long and is nothing but a quick, funny look at two guys robbing a bank unwillingly. Don’t go into this expecting any deeper themes or hidden meaning. As for the trailer, I felt like it was too short. I know that’s redundant when it comes to a trailer, but I couldn’t pick up on a plot and the attempts at humor were mild at best. Hopefully, the finished product will be better than this red band trailer.
The film stars Jesse Eisenberg, Aziz Ansari, Danny McBride and Nick Swarsdon. Eisenberg is reteaming with his ZOMBIELAND director Ruben Fleischer and you can catch the film in theaters on August 12th.
