Jessica Biel, Kate Bosworth and Eva Green up for roles in Total Recall remake

Of all the remakes and sequels happening in Hollywood right now, one of the saddest in my eyes is the remake of the 1990 film TOTAL RECALL which originally starred Arnold Schwarzenegger. However, Hollywood doesn’t usually ask for my opinion even though I would readily give it, and they have decided to move forward with the film based on the novel “We Can Remember It For You Wholesale” by Phillip K. Dick. The TOTAL RECALL remake will be directed by Len Wiseman and has bad boy Colin Farrell in the lead character of Douglas Quaid/Houser, so now the two female leads: Melina and Lori (played previously by Rachel Ticotin and Sharon Stone) need to be cast. Currently vying for the role of Melina are actresses: Jessica Biel, Eva Green and Paula Patton and for the role of Lori we have: Kate Bosworth, Diane Kruger and Eva Mendes. Casting should be announced shortly as this remake has a release date of August 3, 2012, so production needs to begin soon.
I can’t say any of these actresses excite me in these roles and if I have to root for anyone it would be Diane Kruger and Eva Green. I think Kate Bosworth was a terrible choice for Lois Lane in SUPERMAN RETURNS and apparently so did everyone else in Hollywood because I haven’t seen her name pop up for any major roles for quite some time.
