Jim Carrey may rob an armored truck in Loomis Fargo
Jim Carrey seems to be back on the scene making movies, as today we’re learning that he is in talks to star in the upcoming comedy LOOMIS FARGO. The film will be directed by Jared Hess (NAPOLEAON DYNAMITE) and will be based on the true story of four not-so-smart Southerners who managed to pulled off one of the biggest heists in history, bringing in $17 million from a Loomis Fargo truck. Jim Carrey would play a character named Dave Ghantt, a military veteran who happens to be a night guard at the company Loomis Fargo and is the head of the gang of thieves. If Jim Carrey signs on, he would start shooting the film this spring in North Carolina.
Jim Carrey can be seen next in THE INCREDIBLE BURT WONDERSTONE as well as KICK-ASS 2: BALLS TO THE WALLS both of which should open in theaters sometime next year. (Variety)
