Jonah Hill and Ben Stiller will head to the tropics in Aloha
Their new comedy THE WATCH comes out this weekend on July 27th, but apparently Jonah Hill and Ben Stiller had such a good time working together that they’ve already picked out a new project to team up on. It’s been reported that Jonah Hill and Ben Stiller are in talks to sign on to star in the upcoming comedy ALOHA which will re-team the actors with writer Nicholas Stoller (GET HIM TO THE GREEK) and director Shawn Levy (NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM and producer of THE WATCH). There’s no word yet on what exactly the plot of ALOHA will be, but it will obviously be set in Hawaii so at least we’ll have some nice scenery to look at. No word on when shooting would start.
Jonah Hill has a busy schedule in the next couple of years that have him working on: HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON 2, 21 JUMP STREET 2, GOOD TIME GANG, THE WOLF OF WALL STREET and TRUE STORY, so it’ll be interesting to see where he squeezes ALOHA in. Ben Stiller is a little less busy with THE SECRET LIFE OF WALTER MITTY (which he’s also directing) as well as ZOOLANDER 2 but I’m sure he’ll add another project or two in around or before ALOHA starts up.
