Jonah Hill takes on zombies and vampires in The Kitchen Sink

Posted by: Kristy Sturdivant

Jonah Hill has decided to branch out and will be taking on his first directorial project called THE KITCHEN SINK. The script was on the 2010 Black List and follows a teenage vampire, zombie and human who must team up together to save their town from an alien invasion. Even though it has all of these popular genres included, the core of the script is a coming-of-age story reminiscent of THE BREAKFAST CLUB (but really, how many times have we heard that). The script was written by Oren Uziel and has been picked up by Sony. No word on when this project will get started but look for casting news to come about in the next couple of months.

This actually sounds pretty fun and doesn’t seem to take itself too seriously. Jonah Hill seems like one of those guys that always wants to expand his horizons and I hope this project goes well. It’s always nice to see actors jump into other aspects of film.
