Jonah Hill will be starring alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained
It’s a Quentin Tarantino kind of news day here at Flix66.com, and you know what? We’re totally cool with that. This morning we showed you the new international trailer for DJANGO UNCHAINED and now we have a bit of a casting update. Looks like Jonah Hill (MONEYBALL and THE SITTER) has rejoined the cast and that’s pretty exciting. He mentioned last year that he had to turn down a role in the film due to scheduling conflicts, but since there have been so many actors backing out and shooting is still going on, Jonah Hill was able to hop on board in the end. We still don’t know exactly which character he will be playing, but it will not be the original role of Scott Harmony (a 24-year-old overweight character whose father buys him Broomhilda to up his self-confidence). Who knows what is really in store for us this Christmas, but I’m sure it will be great because it’s a Quentin Tarantino film for goodness sake.
DJANGO UNCHAINED stars: Jamie Foxx, Christoph Waltz, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jonah Hill, Samuel L. Jackson, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, RZA, Anthony LaPaglia and Kerry Washington. It opens in theaters on December 25, 2012. (Deadline)
