Kick-Ass 2 adds Robert Emms and Morris Chestnut to the cast
KICK-ASS 2 is working on getting a cast set so shooting can start this fall and today the film welcomes Robert Emms and Morris Chestnut. Robert Emms (WAR HORSE and MIRROR MIRROR) is set to take on the role of Insect Man, who is a policeman that decides to become a superhero. Insect Man is part of the group Justice Forever and his weapon of choice is a baseball bat. Insect-Man is a parody of another famous superhero named after a small arachnid, Spider-Man. Morris Chestnut (THINK LIKE A MAN and televisions AMERICAN HORROR STORY) will also come on to KICK-ASS 2 as the ‘guardian’ for Hit-Girl (to be played by Chloe Moretz), a part which was played by Omari Hardwick in the first film.
