Kristen Stewart, Garrett Hedlund and Viggo Mortensen star in the new On The Road trailer

A new, short international trailer for ON THE ROAD has been released but there is still no release date attached. From director Walter Salles, ON THE ROAD is based on the Jack Kerouac novel of the same name. As with all Kerouac books, the plot is a bit disjointed and free-spirited but this one basically follows an aspiring writer (Sam Riley) who meets an ex-con (Garrett Hedlund) and his 16 year-old wife (Kristen Stewart) who don’t want to be locked down in a conventional life and take to the road for adventures. This will be Kristen Stewart’s third film this year (we’ve already seen her in SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN and will see her in TWILIGHT: BREAKING DAWN PART 2) which is a busy year for anyone in Hollywood.
Alongside Kristen Stewart, Garrett Hedlund and Sam Riley, ON THE ROAD will star: Viggo Mortensen, Kirsten Dunst, Tom Sturridge, Amy Adams, Alice Braga, Steve Buscemi, Elisabeth Moss, Danny Morgan and Terrence Howard.
