Kristen Stewart signs on but Rupert Sanders is out for the Snow White sequel
In the days leading up to the premiere of THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN PART 2, we were bombarded with various rumors swirling stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, some even going as far as to speculate K-Stew is pregnant. Personally, I think we’ve gotten to a point where the gossip columns will say anything about Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson if they think people will click on their links or buy their magazines. But unfortunately for Kristen Stewart, one of the stories that won’t go away is her affair with SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN director Rupert Sanders. It has reared its ugly head again, this time following news that Universal has signed Kristen Stewart to the Snow White sequel, but not Rupert Sanders.
Although this may seem like a big deal, I don’t think anyone was expecting him to return to the sequel. He was efficient with his direction, but I would hardly call him irreplaceable. But the same could be said for Kristen Stewart, who was pretty forgettable as Snow White. But Kristen Stewart’s name and face will sell a few tickets, so it’s not surprising she’ll be returning to the sequel. But the real question is whether or not Chris Hemsworth will return to the sequel because of the the three, he’s the one I would consider irreplaceable. I don’t think anyone would go see a sequel where Kriten Stewart was the only one returning. But my guess is Hemsworth will be offered a huge pile of money and he’ll have no choice but to return. The sequel is still in its infant stages and right now, the only thing we know is that Kristen Stewart will be returning. Little things like who will star with her, what will the story be and who will direct the film still haven’t been flushed out. (RadarOnline)
