Released in 1962, LAWRENCE OF ARABIA followed a famous British military figure and his conflicted loyalties during wartime service. Directed by David Lean and starring: Peter O’Toole, Alec Guinness, Anthony Quinn, Jack Hawkins and Omar Sharif, LAWRENCE OF ARABIA won seven Academy Awards that year including Best Director, Best Music Score, Best Cinematography and Best Picture. Not many films deserve a re-release in theaters, but LAWRENCE OF ARABIA is one of those films that has stood the test of time and would be worth seeing on the big screen. If you can’t make it on October 4th, you will be able to own this classic on Blu-ray when it comes out in a limited-edition four-disc collector’s Gift Set, which will be available on November 13th, 2012.
