Leonardo DiCaprio in The Wolf of Wall Street

Paramount has released the first clip from Martin Scorsese’s THE WOLF OF WALL STREET and although it’s just an extension of a scene we’ve seen in the trailer, it’s still fun to watch.  The anticipation for the film is at an all time high, with the media blitz kicking into high gear.  We’re now about a month away before we learn whether or not the film will be the Oscar juggernaut some are predicting.  Check out the clip below.  Directed by Martin Scorsese, THE WOLF OF WALL STREET stars: Leonardo DiCaprio, Matthew McConaughey, Jonah Hill, Jean Dujardin, Joe Bernthal, Rob Reiner, Jake Hoffman, Jon Favreau, Cristin Milioti, Spike Jonze, Shea Whigham, Kyle Chandler and Ethan Suplee. The film hits theaters on Christmas Day.

The official synopsis for THE WOLF OF WALL STREET: Revered filmmaker Martin Scorsese directs the story of New York stockbroker Jordan Belfort (Leonardo DiCaprio).   From the American dream to corporate greed, Belfort goes from penny stocks and righteousness to IPOs and a life of corruption in the late 80s.  Excess success and affluence in his early twenties as founder of the brokerage firm Stratton Oakmont warranted Belfort the title – THE WOLF OF WALL STREET.  Money.  Power.  Women.  Drugs.  Temptations were for the taking and the threat of authority was irrelevant.  For Jordan and his wolf pack, modesty was quickly deemed overrated and more was never enough.
