Leonardo DiCaprio will call Rob Reiner dad in Martin Scorsese's The Wolf of Wall Street

Rob Reiner

The cast for Martin Scorsese’s THE WOLF OF WALL STREET is shaping up quite nicely.  In the film, Leonardo DiCaprio plays Jordan Belfort, a New York stock broker who’s life is destroyed by sex, drugs and alcohol, but who became more famous for what he didn’t do, which is testify in a federal investigation.  In the past couple of weeks, we’ve had several casting announcements, including Cristin Milioti as Belfort’s wife, Jonah Hill has his best friend, Jean Dujardin as a man that helps Belfort launder his money and now Rob Reiner, who will play his father.

I always think of Rob Reiner as the director of such classic films as STAND BY ME, WHEN HARRY MET SALLY and A FEW GOOD MEN, but lets not forget he got his start as an actor in the long running TV show ‘All in the Family’ and has appeared in many movies and TV shows since then.  I generally enjoy him as an actor, so he should make a nice addition to the already impressive cast.
