Logan Lerman and Alexandra Daddario save the world in the new Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters trailer
It’s not that I disliked the first Percy Jackson film, PERCY JACKSON AND THE OLYMPIANS: THE LIGHTNING THIEF, it’s that I found it to be instantly forgettable. So you can understand why I keep forgetting there’s a sequel hitting theaters later this summer. PERCY JACKSON: SEA OF MONSTERS has debuted a new trailer, featuring some nice special effects and the always worried looking Logan Lerman back in the titular role (as Percy Jackson, not a sea monster). I think this might be a good series for younger kids, but it’s one I just can’t jump on board with. Check out the trailer below and sea (get it?) for yourself.
The official PERCY JACKSON: SEA OF MONSTERS synopsis: PERCY JACKSON: SEA OF MONSTERS continues the young demigod’s epic journey to fulfill his destiny. To save their world, Percy and his friends must find the fabled and magical Golden Fleece. Embarking on a treacherous odyssey into the uncharted waters of the Sea of Monsters (known to humans as the Bermuda Triangle), they battle terrifying creatures, an army of zombies, and the ultimate Evil. Directed by Thor Freudenthal, PERCY JACKSON: SEA OF MONSTERS stars: Logan Lerman, Alexandra Daddario, Nathan Fillion, Sean Bean, Stanley Tucci, Jake Abel, Leven Rambin Anthony Head and Brandon T. Jackson. It hits theaters in 3D on August 16th, 2013.
