Mackenzie Foy joins Matthew McConaughey in Christopher Nolan's Interstellar
Who would have thought that Mackenzie Foy would be the Twilight star with the best career after the series? Of course, I’m only kind of joking because it is way too soon to tell, but pairing up with a Christopher Nolan film guarantees quality award winning filmmaking combined with a people-pleasing blockbuster as well. Then add the fact that Nolan tends to work with his actors over and over again. So yeah, I would say the girl who’s face was awkwardly CGI’d onto a baby playing the offspring of Edward (Robert Pattinson) and Bella (Kristen Stewart) in the final TWILIGHT: BREAKING DAWN PART 2, has a pretty good chance of having a more respected career than her costars. Mackenzie Foy can next be seen in THE CONJURING. (THR)
The plot of INTERSTELLAR is still being kept under wraps. What we do know is that it’s a combination of an original script from Christopher Nolan’s brother Jonathan Nolan and involves a group of explorers that go through a worm hole and get involved in time travel and alternate dimensions. But Nolan won’t be using the original script alone, he’s also merging some of his original ideas into Jonathan’s script, meaning it will be even more ambitious than the first draft suggested. The Christopher Nolan directed film will have a cast that currently includes, Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Michael Cain, Casey Affleck and Mackenzie Foy. INTERSTELLAR is set to hit theaters and IMAX November 7, 2014.
