Mad Max 4 Official, With All Eyes On Charlize Theron

Word out of Australia is that the long rumored fourth installment in the Mad Max franchise, titled FURY ROAD is set to begin production early next year. Franchise creator George Miller is aiming to bring major studios back to Australia after recent high-profile projects abandoned the once popular location.
Of course, this news prompts many more questions, the most notable being the extent to which Mel Gibson will be involved. E! reported yesterday that Charlize Theron is Miller’s favorite to star in the film, with relative unknown Tom Hardy set to star as well. Personally, I can’t envision a Mad Max film without Mr. Gibson, but maybe that’s just me.
