Mark Wahlberg and Amanda Seyfried star in the first Ted 2 trailer

The first trailer for TED 2 is everything the first movie was; stupid, juvenile, vulgar and non-sensical.  It’s also hilarious.  I hate the simple gross-out humor that Seth MacFarlane is known for since I find ‘Family Guy’ almost unwatchable and his Oscar hosting stint was embarrassing, but for some reason, I crack up when he’s voicing that bear.  The sequel to the hit comedy has a plotline that seems a little far fetched and I fear that plot is going to stifle the jokes, but I have to admit that the first trailer had me cracking up.  Yes, I’m embarrassed that I found it so funny, but that’s okay.  Check out the trailer below and see for yourself if TED 2 is for you.

The official synopsis for TED 2: Seth MacFarlane returns as writer, director and co-star of “Ted 2,” Universal and Media Rights Capital’s follow-up to the highest-grossing original R-rated comedy of all time. Joined once again by star Mark Wahlberg and fellow “Ted” writers Alec Sulkin & Wellesley Wild, MacFarlane produces the live action/CG-animated comedy alongside Bluegrass Films’ Scott Stuber, as well as John Jacobs and Jason Clark.  TED 2 stars Mark Wahlberg, Amanda Seyfried, Morgan Freeman, Liam Neeson, Dennis Haysbert, Jessica Barth, Mila Kunis and even Tom Brady.  Of course, Seth McFarlane returns to voice Ted and direct the film that hits theaters on June 26th.
