Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis in new images from Ted

I’m not the biggest fan of ‘Family Guy’ creator Seth MacFarlane, but I would consider myself moderately interested in his effort to leap to the big screen, TED. I’m not quite sure how they’re going to work in a talking, stuffed teddy bear, but the first trailer for Ted had me laughing and everything we’ve seen so far has been decent. Of course, there are also talking humans in the film and that brings us to Mark Wahlberg, who I’m also interested in seeing in a comedic role. He was good in I HEART HUCKABEES, but TED is a lot more pressure for him since he’s going to be carrying the film himself. He seemed okay in the trailer, but whether or not he can make it last for 90 minutes remains to be seen.
TED follows the misadventures of John (Mark Wahlberg), who’s trying to start a serious relationship with Lori (the adorable Mila Kunis), but is struggling because his talking, childhood bear keeps getting in the way. The film also stars Giovanni Ribisi, Patrick Warburton, Joel McHale and Seth MacFarlane as the voice of Ted. TED opens everywhere on June 29th.
