Martin Freeman and Ian McKellen listen to the dwarves sing in new clip from The Hobbit

Ian McKellen in The Hobbit Misty Mountains clip

In just two days THE HOBBIT: AN UNEXPECTED JOUNREY finally hits theaters, and before you all rush out to get your fill of dwarves, dragons and The Shire, there’s another clip that will help get you in the mood. Below you can see a clip that features the dwarves singing about a place called the Misty Mountains, and it must be either really fantastic or a crazy scary place because the mood is very somber and Gandalf (Ian McKellen) and Bilbo (Martin Freeman) look a little sad and wary. If anyone wants to elaborate as to what terrible (or great) things the Misty Mountains hold, then feel free to tell us in the comments below.

Directed by Peter Jackson, THE HOBBIT: AN UNEXPECTED JOURNEY stars Martin Freeman, Andy Serkis, Hugo Weaving, Stephen Fry, Brett McKenzie, Orlando Bloom, Evangeline Lilly, Elijah Wood, Ian McKellen, Ian Holm, Benedict Cumberbatch, Luke Evans and Cate Blanchett. The Peter Jackson directed film opens in theaters on December 14th, 2012.
