Mary-Louise Parker bringing Weeds Season 6 to Blu-ray

Lionsgate Home Entertainment has announced that the wildly popular Showtime series WEEDS will be releasing Season 6 on Blu-ray February 22, 2011. Mary-Louise Parker plays Nancy Botwin, a widow who finds that the easiest way to support her kids is to sell weed to her neighbors. The Blu-ray will be released in a two-disc set with all 13 episodes. That same day will also bring NURSE JACKIE: SEASON 2 to Blu-ray, which stars Edie Falco as a drug-addicted nurse who is trying to find some balance in her life.
I’ve been hearing lately that people are jumping onto the WEEDS wagon, but personally I’m one foot off and ready to jump ship with one more crazy season. It started out so fun and fresh but has taken this dark turn that is becoming more and more disturbing with each episode. If you haven’t had a chance to check it out then I would recommend Seasons 1,2 and 3. I hate to say it, but it may have “jumped the shark” in Season 4. Special features for WEEDS: SEASON 6 include:
