Matt Damon gets a checkup in new images from Elysium

Although it’s true ELYSIUM is still four months away, I don’t feel like we’ve been hearing much about it lately. Updates on the film are few and far between, so even a couple of images is news worthy these days. Today, the Spanish website Judao got a couple of pics, the first featuring Matt Damon getting his head checked out and the second featuring who I believe is Alice Braga rushing through a door. Obviously, if that’s not Braga, I’m sure you’ll correct me in the comments below. ELYSIUM takes place “in the year 2159 where two classes of people exist: the very wealthy who live on a pristine man-made space station called Elysium, and the rest, who live on an overpopulated, ruined Earth.” Now lets get a trailer already.
ELYSIUM stars Matt Damon, Jodie Foster, Alice Braga, Sharlto Copley, Wagner Moura, William Fichtner, Talisa Soto, Jose Pablo Cantillo and Diego Luna. The Neill Blomkamp directed film opens in theaters on August 9th, 2013.
