Matt Dillon joins Kristen Wiig and Annette Bening in Imogene

It’s good to see Kristen Wiig getting the attention she deserves. From SNL to the big screen, Wiig shows that she has something new to bring to the table of this generation of female comediennes.
Her next role is in the indie comedy, IMOGENE with Annette Bening. Joining them is Matt Dillon whose comedic chops are often underrated. Just watch SOMETHING ABOUT MARY and you’ll understand. While Wiig and Bening have been set for awhile now, Dillon is hoping on board for the comedy which started this week in New York.
Oddly enough, Dillon’s character is like the one from SOMETHING ABOUT MARY. In IMOGENE, the actor plays Bening’s love interest. He says he works for the CIA but seems a little too off his rocker to do a job like that. Wiig takes on the role of a playwright who due to her down trodden luck with work and life tries to fake kill herself. She then tries to get some sort of sympathy from her ex who recently dumped her but is forced to move in with her mom (Bening) who has a gambling problem.
