Matthew McConaughey will join Leonardo DiCaprio in The Wolf of Wall Street
One has to give Matthew McConaughey (or his agent and PR firm) credit as he has been lining up film after film these past couple of years. It should also be noted that these Matthew McConaughey films are pretty good and may let audiences forget such bombs like GHOST OF GIRLFRIENDS PAST and FOOL’S GOLD. After Matthew McConaughey dazzled audiences this summer in MAGIC MIKE, he went on a killing spree in KILLER JOE and once again fights for justice in THE PAPERBOY, he can now move to the big time, as in Wall Street. Matthew McConaughey has landed a role in Martin Scorsese’s upcoming film THE WOLF OF WALL STREET alongside some pretty heavy-hitting actors. Matthew McConaughey is set to play Mark Hanna, one of Jordan Belfort’s (Leonardo DiCaprio) early mentors.
Directed by Martin Scorsese, THE WOLF OF WALL STREET will star: Leonardo DiCaprio, Jonah Hill, Matthew McConaughey, Jean Dujardin, Rob Reiner, Jake Hoffman, Cristin Milioti and Ethan Suplee. Filming is supposed to start sometime this month with a release sometime in 2013. (Deadline)
