Michael Fassbender and Seth Rogen star in the new Steve Jobs trailer
No matter how great or successful Danny Boyle’s STEVE JOBS is, I will always remember it for the difficult path it took to the big screen. It was disconcerting to see so many actors attach themselves to the role and then drop out, especially with such a heralded script from Aaron Sorkin. But after so much drama, the film finally landed on the desks of Michael Fassbender and Danny Boyle and even given what could have been, I’d say that’s a pretty good actor-director combination. We got a worthless teaser a few months ago, but today we get the first full length trailer for the film. It reminds me very much of THE SOCIAL NETWORK, which isn’t a bad thing. Check it out for yourself below.
The official JOBS synopsis: Set backstage at three iconic product launches and ending in 1998 with the unveiling of the iMac, Steve Jobs takes us behind the scenes of the digital revolution to paint an intimate portrait of the brilliant man at its epicenter. JOBS stars Michael Fassbender, Seth Rogen, Kate Winslet, Jeff Daniels, Michael Stuhlbarg and Katherine Waterston. The Danny Boyle directed film hits theaters on October 9th.
