Naomi Watts to join Melissa McCarthy and Bill Murray in St. Vincent De Van Nuys

In a very sought after role, Naomi Watts looks to be the victor as she seems to be very likely to join the cast in ST. VINCENT DE VAN NUYS. Watts will be joining Bill Murray Melissa McCarthy and Chris O’Dowd in the film produced by The Weinstein Company, Chernin Entertainment and Don Cheadle’s Crescendo. Naomi Watts was nominated for her fearless performance in last year’s THE IMPOSSIBLE and appears to be the only dramatic actress among some of Hollywoods funniest people.
The script was written by Theodore Melfi (sometimes Ted), who will also direct the film said to be like SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK mixing comedy and drama through human pathos. Bill Murray will play the grouchy title character who has a relationship with a russian prostitute played by Naomi Watts. Murray becomes an unlikely influence on a young neighbor boy who is the son of a single mother played by Melissa McCarthy. ST.
