New image from Pirates of the Caribbean On Stranger Tides starring Johnny Depp

Love it or hate it, Twitter has become one of the number one places where directors, actors and producers are talking about their projects and sometimes they even give us a visual. Today Jerry Bruckheimer tweeted (I still think that’s such a funny term) a new photo of Blackbeard’s Flag from PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN ON STRANGER TIDES. It’s not the most exciting picture, but you know for sure that it’s real when it comes from Mr. Bruckheimer. PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN ON STRANGER TIDES stars Johnny Depp, Penelope Cruz, Ian McShane, Geoffrey Rush, Gemma Ward, Stephen Graham, Sam Claflin and Astrid Berges-Frisby. The film will be directed by Rob Marshall and hits theaters May 20, 2011.

Even though I’m a little shocked that the Pirates franchise has gone on so long and will even be adding two more movies to the set, I think they’re fun films and I’ll continue to watch them. But I don’t know if they have as much of that “re watchability factor” like the very first one.
