New set photos from Peter Jackson's The Hobbit

Some new photos have cropped up from the set of THE HOBBIT and although they are really blurry and hard to make out…well what do you expect? I don’t think the guy taking the photos is professional spy or anything, he did the best that he could and he even labeled them for us. Nice guy (or girl). So below you have a couple of actors including Andy Serkis and Adam Brown who are trolling around on the set of the epic, two-part film from Peter Jackson. Look for the first part of THE HOBBIT to hit theaters in December 2012.

So production has officially begun on the film- is everyone out there excited? Good, but if you can’t wait til next year to get your Middle Earth fix then you can get the LORD OF THE RINGS TRILOGY extended editions on Blu-ray on June 28, 2011. Until then, keep an eye out for more set photos.
