Noomi Rapace bringing Stieg Larsson's Dragon Tattoo Trilogy to Blu-ray

It’s been announced that STIEG LARSSON’S DRAGON TATTOO TRILOGY, starring Noomi Rapace and Michael Nyqvist, will now be available on Blu-ray February 22, 2011. The set will include all three films: THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO, THE GIRL WHO PLAYED WITH FIRE and THE GIRL WHO KICKED THE HORNET’S NEST. The trilogy has almost two hours of bonus features that include a documentary detailing the remarkable reign of the Larsson’s novels and the movies they have inspired, as well as interviews with the series’ creators and stars. THE GIRL WHO KICKED THE HORNET’S NEST can be purchased earlier on January 25th, 2011.
I know these books are very popular and the first film in the series was very interesting. Noomi Rapace really commanded the screen and was the best part of the whole thing. I would pick these up just to watch her performance, but be forewarned, this series is not for the weak of stomach. I still have moments where I shudder just thinking about what happened on screen.
