Oscar Isaac and Carey Mulligan star in the new Inside Llewyn Davis trailer
The more I see and read about The Coen Brothers’ INSIDE LLEWYN DAVIS, the more excited I get to see the film. Featuring what is sure to be a career making turn from Oscar Isaac, the film looks to be filled with plenty of signature Coen Brothers style, on par with some of their best films. The new trailer for the film is here and it features more of the same. As excited as I am about the movie, I’m equally excited about the soundtrack. The new trailer features the film’s theme song, “Fare Thee Well (Dink’s Song)” as sung by Marcus Mumford (yes, that Mumford) and Oscar Isaac.
In INSIDE LLEWYN DAVIS, Oscar Isaac stars as Llewyn, a struggling folk musician dealing with an angry ex-girlfriend (Carey Mulligan), a stray cat and a host of other characters as he navigates the 1960’s folk music scene in New York City’s Greenwich Village. The film stars Oscar Isaac, Carey Mulligan, Justin Timberlake, John Goodman, Garrett helund and F. Murray Abraham. The Joel and Ethan Coen directed film hits theaters on December 6th in a limited release and December 20th everywhere.
