Paranormal Activity 4 coming to Blu-ray in January
Paramount Pictures has announced that the fourth film in the PARANORMAL ACTIVITY franchise, cleverly titled PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 4, directed by Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman and starring Katie Featherston, Kathryn Newton, Stephen Dunham and Mitt Shively, will be available on Blu-ray January 29th, 2013.
PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 4 follows in the same footsteps as its predecessors with the “found footage” technique. In this particular film we follow Alice (Kathryn Newton) and her mother, who were living a happy life until some new neighbors moved in. Unfortunately, the new little creepy kid and his aunt are unpacking more than their belongings, as a demonic presence that has been bugging them for years follow them to the new house and decide to get to know the neighborhood.
Somehow audiences are still intrigued by the PARANORMAL ACTIVITY franchise as PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 4 grossed over $119 million worldwide. This guarantees we’ll be seeing PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 5-15 in the next decade or so. It really has the potential to go on forever since Paramount is making big bucks on the franchise. It only costs them about $5 million to make and that’s a nice profit margin. Check out the PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 4 trailer below.

- Original Theatrical Version of the Film
- Unrated Version of the Film
- The Recovered Files – nearly 30 minutes of ‘found footage’
