People Like Us starring Chris Pine and Elizabeth Banks coming to Blu-ray in October

Walt Disney Home Entertainment has announced that the drama PEOPLE LIKE US, starring Chris Pine, Elizabeth Banks, Michell Pfeiffer, Olivia Wilde and Mark Duplass, will be available in a Blu-ray/DVD combo pack on October 2, 2012.
Directed by Alex Kurtzman, PEOPLE LIKE US follows Sam (Chris Pine) who upon settling the matters of his deceased father’s estate discovers he has a sister, Frankie (Elizabeth Banks), he didn’t know of as well as a nephew. As Sam and Frankie connect and get to know each other Sam reflects back on his thoughts of family and the life choices he has taken so far.
PEOPLE LIKE US didn’t open on more than 2055 screens but still brought in over $12 million at the box office. PEOPLE LIKE US also seemed to resonate with audiences and critics so if you missed it when it came out in theaters you may want to pick it up to see this fall.
