Pixar's Cars 2 coming to Blu-ray

Disney has announced that the summer Pixar film CARS 2, featuring the voice talents of Owen Wilson, Larry the Cable Guy, Emily Mortimer, Michael Caine, John Turturro and Eddie Izzard, is coming to Blu-ray on November 8, 2011. The film will be available in either a standard Blu-ray/DVD combo pack or a 5-disc combo pack with includes the Blu-ray and Blu-ray 3D version as well as a disc for special features and a DVD/Digital copy of the film.
CARS 2 follows Mater and Lightning McQueen as they head off around the world to compete in the World Grand Prix. Along the way Mater convinces some intelligence officers that he is a secret spy and is then sent on a mission to save the world.
Even though CARS 2 grossed well over $278 million worldwide, it’s been hailed as the worst Pixar film to date and receive some not so stellar reviews. With that said, it’s still Pixar and one of their bombs probably outshines most other animated films on the market today.
No special features or technical aspects have been released as of yet.
