Resident Evil: Retribution starring Milla Jovovich and Michelle Rodriguez coming to Blu-ray in December

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced that the fifth installment in the Resident Evil franchise called RESIDENT EVIL: RETRIBUTION, directed by Paul W.S. Anderson and starring Milla Jovovich, Sienna Guillory, Michelle Rodriguez, Aryana Engineer, Bingbing Li, Boris Kodjoe, Kevin Durand and Oded Fehr, will be available on Blu-ray in both 2D and 3D editions on December 21st, 2012.
RESIDENT EVIL: RETRIBUTION once again follows Alice (Milla Jovovich) who is working with a resistance movement to fight against a planet full of zombies and the Umbrella Corporation.
Admittedly I was a little skeptical of the Resident Evil franchise, because I didn’t really think that a series that kept pumping out films could be any good. However, a couple of months ago I sat down and watched the first four films and found myself hooked. For those fans of sci-fi and action, the Resident Evil films will satisfy and leave you wanting more. RESIDENT EVIL: RETRIBUTION brought in over $200 million worldwide, and I suspect that as long as Milla Jovoich continues to play Alice we’ll be seeing more films.
