Robert Downey Jr. falls from the sky in a new poster for Iron Man 3

Yeah, I realize I’m late on this one, but things have been crazy around the Flix 66 offices and although I decidedly skipped over posting all the “previews of Super Bowl commercials”, I wouldn’t skip over a poster, especially one as cool as this. Normally, posters for big budget, summer blockbusters are pretty pedestrian, either featuring a logo or a bunch of floating heads, so it’s exciting to see a teaser poster that actually teases the film. Director Shane Black has insisted that IRON MAN 3 will be fun, but everything we’ve seen so far, including the trailers, images and now a poster, indicate that this will be the darkest film of the series.

Col. James Rhodes/War Machine), Wang Xuequi (Dr. Wu) and James Badge Dale (Eric Savin/Coldblood). IRON MAN 3 hits theaters on May 3rd, 2013.
