Robert Downey Jr., Jude Law and Noomi Rapace in a new trailer for Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows

Just when I was complaining that the marketing for SHERLOCK HOLMES: A GAME OF SHADOWS was a little on the light side, we get new banners and a brand new trailer to get us excited. It seems the second trailer is more of the same and the movie will follow closely to the original in terms of tone and pacing, but that’s okay with me. I enjoyed the first one and if the second keeps it going, it should make for a decent Christmas action film. I’m still not sold on Jared Harris as Moriarty, but I’ll hold my negative comments until I see the completed film. I also noticed that Rachel McAdams had a much larger part in this trailer, so I’m curious to see how large her role will be in the film.
SHERLOCK HOLMES 2 stars Robert Downey Jr., Jude Law, Stephen Fry, Jared Harris, Rachel McAdams and Noomi Rapace. The Guy Ritchie directed film hits theaters on December 12th.
