Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are surprisingly absent in a new image from Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2

Just four months away and the fourth and final installment in the TWILIGHT saga will come out in theaters (TWILIGHT BREAKING DAWN PART 2) and then that’s it for our adventure with Edward (Robert Pattinson), Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Jacob (Taylor Lautner). Which is why it’s surprising that Edward and Bella are not featured in this new photo, released to coincide with the Twilight presence at Comic-Con (which Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were kind enough to attend). It is, however, nice to see a group shot of all the vamps in the film- minus the Volturi of course. It would be nice to see some shots of the final showdown since that’s what I’m looking forward to most, anyone else feel that way? Since it’s been quite a while since I’ve read the book, I can’t put this photo into perspective so if any fans out there want to fill us in on what may be going on here in this image that would be grand. Oh, and please tell us where Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are and maybe Taylor Lautner too.

Directed by Bill Condon, TWILIGHT: BREAKING DAWN PART 2 stars: Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Nikki Reed, Kellan Lutz, Dakota Fanning, Taylor Lautner, Ashley Green, Michael Sheen and Billy Burke. The final installment in the franchise opens in theaters on November 16, 2012.

Oh, and never fear fans, your Stephenie Meyer days are not over yet. Meyer’s next book, THE HOST, will be going to the big screen next spring on March 29, 2013 and will star: Saoirse Ronan, Diane Kruger, Boyd Holbrook, Frances Fisher, Jake Abel, Max Irons, William Hurt and Chandler Canterbury. THE HOST will be directed by Andrew Niccol and looks to be somewhat promising since it’s a bit of a body snatching story with a heart. I’ll be interested to see how director Andrew Niccol pulls it off.
