Robert Pattinson and Juliette Binoche are set for The Childhood Of A Leader

Things must have gone pretty well on the set of COSMOPOLIS. Star Robert Pattinson and director David Cronenberg are already reteaming on MAPS TO THE STARS and now Pattinson and fellow COSMOPOLIS star Juliette Binoche are looking to star in another movie together. The duo have signed on for the film THE CHILDHOOD OF A LEADER, which will follow the childhood of an important post WWI leader. Unfortunately, not much else is known about the film, so we don’t know which leader the film will follow or what kind of movie it will end up being. Tim Roth will also be starring.
The script was co-written by Mona Fastvold and actor Brady Corbert, with Corbert making his big screen directing debut on the film. It feels like we’ve been waiting a long time for another Robert Pattinson movie to hit theaters. THE ROVER should be the next one up, but even that doesn’t have an official release date. However, despite the wait, I’m excited for his projects since he seems to be choosing quality roles post-Twilight. Production on THE CHILDHOOD OF A LEADER should get underway in May. (Variety)
