Robert Pattinson is mending his broken heart by throwing himself into his work as today it’s been announced that he will be joining Naomi Watts in QUEEN OF THE DESERT. With COSMOPOLIS coming out this weekend, next year Robert Pattinson be starring in THE ROVER and MISSION: BLACKLIST. Robert Pattinson could be the serious actor Twihards have been saying he was for all these years which is great for him. A perfect example of building your career off a blockbuster.
Directed by Werner Herzog, QUEEN OF THE DESERT follows the true story of Gertrude Bell (Naomi Watts), a political ambassador for Britain who was known for her travels, writing, exploration and cartography. Robert Pattinson will play T.E. Lawrence (Lawrence of Arabia) who helped Bell establish the Hashemite dynasties in Iraq and Jordan. Production for QUEEN OFTHE DESERT should start this fall.
