Dylan (Nick Stahl) works at a funeral home and fakes his own death to see which friends show up at his funeral. When he becomes friends with a junkie and reunites with a past love interest strange supernatural occurrences reveal that no one is who they say they are. DEAD AWAKE stars Nick Stahl, Amy Smart and Rose McGowan and is set for release on December 3, 2010.
Nick Stahl has recently been known for his darker (read: horror) movies, but he does have some pretty decent films under his belt that include: THE THIN RED LINE, THE MAN WITHOUT A FACE and SIN CITY. It’s too bad when actors get stuck in the horror rut but it appears to be a common problem in Hollywood. I just hope that by being part of this film Amy Smart doesn’t end up there as well.
