Russell Crowe and Ridley Scott bring Robin Hood to Blu-ray on September 21st

It wasn’t exactly the summer blockbuster everyone had hoped for, but Ridley Scott’s ROBIN HOOD did okay at the box office given the competition.  As great as Scott and Crowe have been in the past, I think audiences are growing tired of the epic battle sequences and were looking for a new twist on the old legend.  As it is, most people would rather watch ROBIN HOOD: PRINCE OF THIEVES or ROBIN HOOD: MEN IN TIGHTS again before sitting down to watch Scott’s epic.  But anyway, the film hits Blu-ray on September 21st with a slew of extras.  I’m hoping at some point, they discuss the many incarnations the story went through and why they chose a straight linear story in the end.
